The new DX12 charger combines the advantages of the well-known Junsi iCharger DUO series with the portability of a small pocket charger. Despite its compact dimensions of 111.5 x 128.5 x 40 mm, no compromises were made in terms of performance and usability. The newly developed rotary wheel has a very good tactile feedback and greatly facilitates operation. The technical specifications are impressive, with 1700W charging power (above 25V), support for 1-12s LiPo cells, and a charging current of up to 30 amperes, suitable even for large high-capacity batteries. Naturally, it can also charge other battery types such as LiHV, LiIo, NiZn, PB, NiCd, or NiMH batteries. The discharge power is 80 watts in total (50W per output when only one output is used), but it can be increased to up to 3000W using an external load (discharge resistor). The iCharger DX12 also supports regenerative charging, where the battery capacity, for example, from a fully charged flight battery, is fed back into the power supply battery. The balancer current of 4 amperes in total (2A per output) always ensures perfectly balanced cell voltages. A USB-C PD port for charging smartphones, etc. (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A), or for software updates, is also built-in. The micro SD slot can be used for logging data and future updates. Also integrated is a servo tester; please note that an external power supply is required for this feature! The menu navigation is almost identical to the well-known Junsi iCharger 308DUO, 406 DUO, or 4010DUO models. A 2.8" IPS LCD display ensures good readability even in low light conditions. An English-language manual is included with the charger on a CD, and the German version can be found for download at www.rc-dome.de. All Junsi chargers in the X and DUO series are designed and approved for use in model building. Industrial use is not intended and therefore not permitted! All Junsi chargers must only be operated with power supplies developed for model building! AGM batteries must not be charged in the PB program.
