This fire extinguishing granulate is the perfect solution for safe storage and extinguishing of lithium polymer batteries in the event of a fire. The pillow solution is a perfect transport for charging LiPo batteries. When charging over the battery, and you already have effective and good fire protection. With the Extover fire extinguishing granulate, you are also perfectly equipped for all lithium fires in your workshop. The expanded glass granulate surrounds the fire and suffocates it. At particularly high temperatures, the expanded glass melts and spreads on the surface of the burning metal. The melt forms an airtight seal, which encrusts when it cools down and allows the metal fire to go out. A flare-up is effectively prevented. Extinguishing agents have the task of extinguishing burning substances, taking into account their fire class and the environment. They are used by fire departments or in automatic fire extinguishing systems. They are also kept in mobile units for self-help. Our fire extinguishing granules are suitable for fire loads of classes D and lithium ions. Problematic fire loads such as metal fires, battery fires, lithium fires or flammable liquids can be controlled and extinguished with the granulate without causing damage to the extinguishing agent. The extinguishing effect of Dem Granulate in metal fires was tested and confirmed by the MPA Dresden using tools sodium and magnesium fires. Extover® is applied in the direction of the fire so that the fire source is completely covered. We recommend a covering height of 10 to 30 cm above the source of the fire, depending on the fire object to be extinguished.
